ABOUT ME
HI ! I am a UX Designer and Researcher with experience in high-fidelity mobile app and mid-fidelity website design. My passion for creative projects led me to pursue a career in user-based intentional design, and I completed General Assembly's immersive full-time User Experience Design course to hone my skills. I am driven by critical thinking and empathy, which I believe are essential to effective problem-solving.
As a UX Designer and Researcher, I have conducted user interviews and secondary research to drive project timelines and ensure that user preferences are reflected in the design. I have also run usability and desirability tests with competitor sites to identify user preferences and conducted online surveys to gather user feedback. I have used Miro to create affinity maps and synthesize data into user personas, as well as created user flows and wireframe sketches of future prototypes with the design team.
Additionally, I have coordinated with clients to get approval of pivots through Slack and delivered responsive mobile prototypes using Figma. I have utilized component libraries and style guides on Figma and Miro and created sitemaps through Optimal Workshop.
My experience also includes analyzing competitor sites and conducting heuristic analysis to determine usability issues and opportunities for improvement. I have created journey/affinity maps and personas to visualize user roadblocks and delights, and conducted open card sorting to identify common findings. I have also conducted usability tests with wireframes designed in Figma to implement iterations for the final prototype.
I believe in continuous learning and am currently enrolled in a Google Coursera certification to further my skills as a UX Designer/Researcher. I am excited to apply my passion for user-centered design and research to any project and welcome all challenges as opportunities.
